Nepal faces Maldives Today in Bangabandhu semifinal

athmandu : Nepal national football team will face Maldives the topper of Group B Today in Bangabandhu semis at Bangabandhu National Stadium Dhaka.

Maldives team finished as Group B winners and will play against Nepal, who finished as runner ups in Group A. The match will start at 5:30 PM BDT. Nepali time of the match will be 5:15 PM, 15 minute earlier than that time. Baharain U-23 has already reached to final beating host nation Bangladesh with score line 1-0 thanks to goal from Ebrahim Alhooti.in 45th minute.

In the group stage, Nepal managed to secure a 1-0 over Sri Lanka, while it ended with two draws over Bangladesh and Malaysia.

Meanwhile, Nepal's head coach Bal Gopal Maharjan said that the team has to score goals against the Maldives to advance into the final. Eight countries are participating in the championship.
