Nepal Vs Bangladesh Match Preview

Kathmandu : Nepal will take on Bangladesh in the quarter-finals of the ICC U-19 World Cup at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Friday.
After being defeated by India in Monday’s match, Nepal is first runner-up of Group ‘D’.
Likewise, with the win over Namibia by eight wickets in group match, Bangladesh is winner of Group ‘A’, while Namibia is first runner up. Nepal will however take into consideration the fact that it had defeated Bangladesh during the U-19 world cup held in New Zealand in 2002 by 23 runs in the plate semi-finals.
Similarly, India, which has also qualified to quarter-finals, topping the charts with six points, will play against Namibia. Nepal beat New Zealand and Ireland but faced defeat against India that finished top of the group winning all three matches. Nepal and Bangladesh have faced once in the youth world cup with Nepal beating Bangladesh by 23 runs in 2002.
India will face Namibia in the quarter-finals at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium at 9 am local time on Saturday.
